There are many things these days keeping me awake at nights. Things that make me so angry I can not find any sleep.Instead I imagine what I would have done if I were let’s say Barack Obama.

I can not BELIEVE, that in 2015 racism is still an issue we are dealing with. I remember my parents always telling me „ Racism will fade with your generation“. Well and yet here we are. No! Racism is still one of our biggest issues. How can we as HUMAN beings still have hearts full of hate towards other HUMAN beings? Is there anything I missed? No. I have not! It is a FACT. We all are HUMAN beings whether you like it or not. So where does all this hate come from? I guess obviously from our history – and this is the sad part I have experienced, it comes from lack of education. If people only read enough and moreover put some efforts into history and what has already all happened, rather than just being ignorant and adapting somebody else’s opinion, the issue of racism would already be a little different.

So let’s see: We have Presidents, Bundeskanzler and what not all over the world. People our generation trusted by voting, people who promised to fight against racism together. But here is the other issue: Those are not the people we can rely on when it comes to these kind of issues. Because really for them it is mostly about more power, money and most of all to only look after their own selves. Our generation wants to see some change? Well it is our generation who has to become less ignorant. Instead of hanging on social media all day around, seeing in what kind of „ horrible“ world we live in, it is about time we start a whole new movement. We really need to fight against the horrible and stupid racist history we already had in this world. It is time to FIGHT together. Fight against racism.

The fact that a 24 year old like me needs to say that in the year of 2015 is truly sad. If you are black, white, asian, jew, christian, muslim, gay or whatever in the end humans will be humans. If you can not understand that, then start reading, start educating yourself and start asking yourself why you would hate on some other individual? Start to work on YOURSELF and find the problem that you have with yourself instead of hating on somebody else and just randomly pick on their color of skin or their religion.

Think about it and have a good Sunday evening y’all!
