THERE WERE RAILWAYS BETWEEN VIENNA AND VENICE BEFORE THERE WAS A TRAIN
26th April 2016
Since I’ve been absent for some weeks on the blog I think it is now the perfect time (even though I am super busy) to write down my thoughts and share them with you. I feel as if this Blog is my diary and I want you to participate.
Did you know, that the train tracks over the Alps of Tuscany actually connect Vienna and Venice? Well maybe. Maybe not. But did you know that these train tracks were build even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip?
They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.
What does that mean for you? What does that mean for an ordinary person like you and me?
It simply means that you have to put the effort into your dreams and build yourself a way. A way that will eventually lead you to your dream. And since it is a dream you don’t have the assurance that this road of yours will really lead you to your goal but I really deeply think that when you know you just know.
These pictures were taken while visiting the Duomo in Milano. Besides its breathtaking architecture I think it was extremely energizing finding yourself on top of such an historical building! Without being too corny about it, I really feel that those are the kind of moments in which you think about things. For me it somehow came to my mind that being on top should not come fast. Because whats fast to be achieved will be fast in fading away, too. I think its a long way to the top and whatever your „top“ looks like, I believe that if you make yourself a way just like the railroads, you will also be able to achieve the goal you intend with the way.
